Admission Policy

 

Municipal institution “Educational complex” School of Liberal Arts “Kherson Regional Council” invites to study:
– students who graduated from primary school;
– students from the fifth to the tenth grades of secondary schools of Kherson;
– students from the seventh to the tenth grades of secondary schools of the districts of Kherson region.

Educational complex “School of Liberal Arts”

Kherson Regional Council is a modern educational institution that provides education and upbringing of children at the level of European standards. It is located in four buildings: two high school buildings (33 Molodizhna Street), a primary school building and preschool groups (19 Ukrainska Street), a dormitory building (46 P. Orlyka Street).

The complex has 33 classrooms, of which:

– 7 are equipped with interactive boards,
– 26 personal computers with video projectors
– 2 portable computer classes (20 portable tablets)
– 4 computer classes;
– physics room;
– chemistry room;
– English and Ukrainian language classrooms;
– multimedia hall;

and:
– 2 equipped gyms, sports ground, football field with artificial turf;
– 3 choreographic halls;
– Assembly Hall;
– 3 equipped food units with dining halls (granite and marble treatment according to the highest European standards);
– school library and information center;
– 10 residential blocks of the dormitory building, including a wardrobe room; a room with a sitting area, a bedroom, a bathroom with a boiler that provides round-the-clock hot water supply, a shower cabin, a separate bathroom;
– all buildings have Wi-FI coverage;
– has its own website and portal, school radio and television.

In the educational institution:

– along with the subjects of the state component, subjects are taught according to the author’s courses:

classical Greco-Roman mythology
history of theatrical art
Christian ethics in world art culture
traditions of ancient Greek theater
basics of opera
basics of philosophy
biblical history and Christian ethics
basics of information culture;

Recruitment of students is based on:

– interviews of the director of «SLA» with parents and students;
– interviews with subject teachers in Ukrainian language, literature, mathematics, history, foreign language.
